Computer Help-  Tuesdays from 1-3 PM  Thursday evenings, 5:30-7 PM.Drop in to have help with your computer, tablet or smart phone, or learn on our lap-top computer.

 

Pre-K storytime: Tuesdays at 11 AM.  Sign up is encouraged, (but drop-ins and siblings are allowed.) Ages 2-5. 

Anime Club: Thursdays 5-7 for ages 13-19.

 

Kid Author Signing: Saturday May 12 at 1 PM. Young author Evan Muench will read from his books and do a craft.

Budgeting Basics: How to Grow Your Dough Wednesday May 16 at 6:30 PM.Specific steps for developing your own spending plan will be reviewed. The 50-30-20 rule for determining fixed expenses, flexible spending, and financial goals will be applied in this session. The benefits of developing a personal spending plan, how to track income and expenses, and strategies for record keeping will be covered through a case study approach.  Please sign up. Fun Snacks!: Saturday May 19 at 1 PM. Create art with food! For ages 4-10. Please sign up so we know what supplies to get.

Retirement Workshop: Wednesday May 23 at 6:30 PM. Are you 50+? Whether you’re already retired, about to make the move, or just checking out the possibility, this highly interactive workshop can help with the process by exploring these topics: What retirement means to you; the 9 reasons to retire; key retirement questions. We’ll also start to clearly identify values, interests, personality traits, and skills; set your work/life experience and age as an asset for future endeavors; and create an action plan. This program is supported by funds from the New York State Library’s Adult Literacy Grant, in partnership with the Capital Region Workforce Development Board. Please sign up.
