Hero Day!- Congratulations to our three winners of the “Who’s Your Hero” poster/essay contest!  Courtney Dugan, Careem Tillman and Tylar Fiacco were selected from the three age groups.  Winners will receive a $25 Barnes and Noble gift certificate, please come to the library to pick up your prize!

During the summer, kids can come in any time we’re open to tell us about what they’re reading and get a small prize.  You can go online to report from home!  They will be entered into raffle drawings for larger prizes.

We will serve lunch Monday-Friday  at noon during the summer for children in need (must be 18 or under).  No registration is required.  Ends Friday, August 28th.

Pre-K Story Time– Fridays at 10:30 AM, ends August 21.  Ages 2-6, no sign up needed.

Craft Time- Tuesdays at 2, ends August 18.   For kids ages 6-12.

Summer Teen Time!– Thursdays from 6-8 PM.  Special events, video games and hanging out with your friends in the AC.  Tell us what you’re reading to win prizes! Read whatever you want! Free book available to first 20 teens who come in.  Finale party on August 20th from 4-8.  Ages 13-18.

Graphic Novel Author Danica Novgorodoff- Saturday, August 15 at 1 PM.  Meet the author and artist of “The Undertaking of Lily Chen” as she talks about writing, inking and coloring a graphic novel.  A teen program, but open to all.

Summer Reading Party– Saturday, August 22 at 1 PM.  Pizza, ice cream and prizes for all our readers! MUST be a summer reader member to participate.

Computer tutor time-  Tuesdays from 1-3 PM.  Drop in to have help with your computer, tablet or smart phone, or learn on our lap-top computer.

The Library will be CLOSED September 5 and 7 for Labor Day weekend.
