Take Your Child to the Library Day: Come in Saturday February 6 from 11-2 for our open house.  We will be demonstrating our new technology kit and will have snacks.

Computer tutor time-  Tuesdays from 1-3 PM.  Drop in to have help with your computer, tablet or smart phone, or learn on our lap-top computer.

Teen time Wednesdays from 4-6 PM. Teen time is for ages 12-18 in our multipurpose room- playing video games, making stuff, talking, having snacks and hanging out.

Friends of the Library Meeting- Thursday, February 18 at 6:30 PM.  The Friends have started collecting books for their annual book sale.  Come to the meeting to find out how to help.

Tax help!  Starting January 27th, we will have tax help by appointment every Wednesday until the end of tax season.  Volunteers from the NY state Department of Taxation will walk you through e-filing your state and federal taxes.  It’s free if you earn less than $62,000. Book Discussion:  Thursday February 25 at 6:30 PM.  We will discuss Major Pettigrew’s Last Stand by Helen Simonson.  Multiple copies of the book are available to borrow.  Refreshments served.  Sign up is suggested.

7cf1b950ca2a31100db03ed7e9291242Anti-Valentines Day– Saturday February 13 at 1 PM.  Tired of cutesy love and cupids?  Come to our teen anti-valentine event and make crafts that rebel against all the lovey-dovey stuff.  Ages 12+  Sign up suggested.

Snow closure policy: If the Rensselaer City School District closes due to weather, we will too.  On delay days, we will be open.  On non-school days, the director will decide based on safety, please call ahead.
